Cashless Policy

Dreamcast’s Role
Dreamcast India Pvt. Ltd. provides the cashless payment technology for this event.

  1. Dreamcast acts only as a service provider and payment facilitator.
  2. The Event Organizer is responsible for all event policies, including pricing, refunds, Participating Vendors services, and product availability.
  3. Under the Pure Agent principle, Dreamcast only processes payments on behalf of the organizer and Participating Vendors.
  4. Any disputes regarding purchases, refunds, or services should be addressed to the Event Organizer or the respective Participating Vendors.

Validity of Dreamcast Card

  1. The Dreamcast Card / RFID band / QR wallet can only be used during the event dates and inside the event venue.
  2. It can be used only with participating vendors accepting the Dreamcast Payments System at the event.
  3. The card or wallet cannot be used outside the event venue or after the event ends.
  4. Any balance refund (if applicable) will follow the Event Organizer’s refund policy.

Card Issuing Policy

  1. While collecting or issuing the Dreamcast Card / RFID band, please ensure that you provide the correct contact details.
  2. Accurate details are important to avoid any issues during card recharge, balance tracking, or refund processing (if applicable).
  3. Dreamcast and the Event Organizer will not be responsible for issues arising from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the attendee.

Lost Card Policy

  1. The Dreamcast Card / RFID band should be treated like cash.
  2. If the card is lost, the balance on the card will also be considered lost. Dreamcast and the Event Organizer will not be responsible for any loss of balance resulting from a lost or misplaced card.
  3. Attendees are responsible for keeping their card safe at all times.
  4. In case the card is lost, please immediately visit the nearest help or top-up counter to request card deactivation. Any transactions made before the card is reported lost will remain the responsibility of the card holder.

Top-Ups

  1. Card top-ups can be done only during event operating hours on the event day.
  2. Please ensure you add sufficient balance while top-up counters or online recharge options are available.
  3. In case a top-up transaction fails but the amount is deducted from your bank account due to a bank or payment gateway error, the amount should automatically reflect back in your bank account within 7 working days.
  4. If the amount is not reversed within this period, please contact the support team with the relevant transaction details or proof of payment for further assistance.

Refund Policy

  1. Where applicable, the Event Organizer’s refund policy will govern refunds of any remaining balance.
  2. Please read the Terms & Conditions carefully before purchasing or activating your card.
  3. Verbal commitments or information given on ground will not be considered valid. Only the written T&Cs will apply.
  4. If the refund window opens after the event, it will remain active only for a specified period as defined by the Event Organizer.
  5. Once the refund window closes and the project is handed over, Dreamcast will no longer be responsible for processing refunds. Attendees must reach out directly to the Event Organizer for any refund-related queries thereafter.
  6. A standard 2% Payment gateway charges/processing fees will be deducted from the refundable balance during the online refund process.
  7. On Spot Cash refunds at the event(if applicable) will be paid in full without any charges

Disputes

  1. Any disputes related to products, services, pricing, or quality of items purchased at the event must be addressed directly with the respective Participating Vendors or Event Organizer.
  2. Dreamcast acts only as a technology and payment service providerand is not responsible for the goods or services provided by Participating Vendors at the event.
  3. If an attendee notices any incorrect transaction or deduction, the issue must be reported at the help desk during the event or within the refund window period.
  4. Dreamcast will assist in reviewing the transaction records; however, the final resolution of disputes related to Participating Vendors services will be determined by the Event Organizer.

By collecting, activating, or using the Dreamcast Card / RFID band / cashless wallet, attendees acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to all the above Terms & Conditions.
