TiEcon is TiE's premier Annual Event and is the largest Convention in the world dedicated to entrepreneurs. TiE is a global, not-for-profit, non-political, and non-religious organization dedicated to fostering entrepreneurs across its international network. Since its founding in 1992, TiE has grown to become the world's largest organization for entrepreneurs and professionals, with membership spread across 48 chapters in 11 countries. Membership includes over 1,600 experienced entrepreneurs and business executives as Charter Members, and over 10,000 members.

TiEcon Rajasthan 2009 was held on 17 th December at Birla Auditorium, Jaipur. It witnessed some of the most prominent names of businessmen intellectuals from various fields come together on one platform, to discuss and support budding entrepreneurs in their maiden venture and to provide information on industries and sectors, with huge potential.

Sh. Jitendra Singh, Minister of Energy, Information Technology, Govt. of Rajasthan , graced the occasion with his presence as the Chief Guest. The Conference was also attended by a huge number of students from Management and Engineering Colleges across the city.

The day long conference had Two Panel Discussions and a Parallel Mentorship Track. While both the Panel Discussions threw light on the various upcoming sectors/industries/opportunities which budding entrepreneurs should consider, the Parallel Mentorship track helped start-ups and budding entrepreneurs seek advice/support from some of the veterans.

The Conference was also attended by a number of TiE Global Charter Members, who would also be participating in the Charter Member Retreat 2009, being organized in Jaipur.
